Announcing The Call Community Church's first weekend of fun, fishing and fellowship event. Join us for a couple of days of fellowship and just hanging out at the Carpenter's home on Lake Conroe. This is a come and leave as you desire event.

Where: Don and Shirley Carpenter are hosting at their lake house located at:

13075 Point Drive, Willis, Texas, 77381

​

Planned activities: Grilled dinner upon arrival on Friday evening. Please bring your own beverages and sides (chips/snacks etc.). Fishing from Don's property (bank and dock), and taking the boat out to bait and check trot lines every couple of hours on Friday night. Cards and other games will be available for those who desire.

Depart Saturday morning around 6:00 am. to go catfishing under the 1097 bridge on the north end of Lake Conroe. Two fishing boats are available with a maximum of 8-9 people total. If more wish to boat fish, two separate shorter trips may be scheduled. Text Tony Strother to reserve a boat fishing spot. It will be first come, first serve.

What you need to bring:

1. FISHING LICENSE !!!

2. Rod and tackle. If you have extra rods you are willing to share, there may be some that need equipment.

3. Any drinks and snacks that you may need. Bottled water will be available.

4. A $10.00 contribution would be appreciated to cover food, water, bait, fuel, etc.

5. A cooler with ice.

What will be provided: 

Food for Friday evening cook-out and Saturday morning kolaches. 

All bait, water and fish cleaning services, including storage bags.

Cards, dominos etc. for entertainment.

Come and join us for a fun time of relaxation, fellowship and getting to know other like minded Christian men that are seeking to answer the "Call". We look forward to seeing you at the lake soon!
